Growing up as a small town girl in Illinois, Angela developed her creative interests at a very young age. Over the years she would spend much of her time self-teaching and perfecting her artistic skills. “Follow your heart. Never allow anyone to plague you with self-doubt when it comes to your dreams and aspirations,” she says. Through her own personal experiences and growth, she has learned that only you can create the future. “As a graphic designer I intend to apply and share my artistic knowledge in an effort to aid in the success of the industries of today and tomorrow. I value learning from my experiences as I will only continue to grow and thrive as a designer and artist.”
Angela began her journey into graphic design as a student at Illinois Valley Community College, graduating with an Associate of Applied Science in December 2008. For a year and a half after graduating, she held a position as a full-time graphic designer working for Travel West in Spring Valley, Illinois. Her duties included designing promotional flyers, itinerary booklets for group travelers, as well as associate editor and graphic designer for the online traveler and niche magazine, Quiltposium. She graduated with her Bachelor of Applied Science in graphic design at Robert Morris University in February 2012. Currently, she holds a seasonal position with a school photography studio.
